Response:
1. Yes, provided the intent of the design is not compromised.
2. The project must be bid as shown on the drawings, however the Owner will entertain any Contractor proposed cost cutting modifications following contract award. Such modifications must satisfy the original intent of the design and are subject to the approval of the Engineer.

Response: This question was asked at the pre-bid conference. YCWA does not have a cost estimate available. YCWA has budgeted $1,000,000 for this work. |

Height of Spillway Gates

Response: As shown on drawing ZCC-15-211 the bottom of the gate is at Elevation 1901.35 and the Top is at Elevation 1957 feet which makes the vertical height of the gate 55.65 feet. |
